Thanks for the feedback troops. I wear a full face helmet usually with the shield down. I usually ride moderately two up max speed 60 mph very little hard acceleration and no I mean no reving engine in neutral or clutch pulled in. Anyway the top end noise is only noticeable at slow speeds. Perhaps it's normal??
But here is my latest concern, see if this sounds familiar to anyone: Just came back from another two up
100 mile ride. Dropped off my buddy and tooled around town to gas up and run errand. I noticed a rather loud
sound like a tire rubbing or a dry wheel bearing howling when leaned over a bit when making left curves or turns (left only). The tires show no sign of being rubbed nor is there anything to rub against them.
If someone doesn't come up with a probable cause quick I'm going to pull the wheels off and check bearings. I'd rather eat a bug 'cause this is more work than I have time for right now. Help!
Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year too.
This didn't act like it posted so I'm going to hit it again, sorry if double posted.
